Central Commons provides 29 affordable homes for adults aged 55 and older within the historic Stevens Commons campus in Hallowell. Located in the beautifully restored Central Building, residents enjoy a welcoming community with on-site laundry, community space, and tenant storage. Through the complete rehabilitation of one of the campus's historic landmark buildings, the development preserved an important piece of local history while creating high-quality, affordable housing for older adults, including dedicated homes for veterans who have experienced homelessness.
